DOCKWORKERS UNION ANNOUNCE STRIKES
 The State Coordinator of Sea Workers (CETM for its name in Spanish) has plans to issue a strike notice, which details concerning initiation date and duration of work stoppage will be defined by next week.
The measure is pursued as consequence of the lack of approval by the Spanish Government of the necessary regulations for the implentation of the Royal Decree 8/2017; and CETM’s aim is for the Spanish Government to extend for one (1) more year the validity of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Framework Agreement.
The Spanish Ministry of Development has adviced that the regulations regarding the Royal Decree 8/2017 will be presented to Council of State this week.

 ANUNCIO DE HUELGA DE ESTIBADORES
La Coordinadora Estatal de Trabajadores del Mar (CETM) ha anunciado que presentaran pre-aviso de convocación de huelga, cuyos detalles sobre la fecha de inicio y duración de los paros serán definidos la próxima semana.
La medida es tomada como consecuencia de la falta de aprobación por el Gobierno del desarrollo reglamentario del Real Decreto 8/2017; y el objetivo de CETM es que el Gobierno prorrogue un (1) año más la vigencia de los convenios colectivos actuales y el Acuerdo Marco.
El Ministerio de Fomento ha anunciado que la tramitación del reglamento que desarrolla el Real Decreto-ley 8/2017 sobre el sector de la estiba se presentarán esta semana al Consejo de Estado.
