STEVEDORE STRIKE UPDATES
The stevedores presented on June 15th 2017, a Notice of Strike as they continue to protest  against the liberalization of the current stevedores recruitment announced by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
The Notice of Strike announced that the strike would take place during odd hours from 08:00 hours to 08:00 hours of the next morning of the dates:
Monday June 26 Â Â Â Â Â Tuesday June 27 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Thursday June 29 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Friday June 30
Monday July 03 Â Â Â Â Â Tuesday July 04 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Thursday July 06 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Friday July 07
 There is an important difference with the previous strike condition and it is that it would happen four days a week and the only normal working day would be Wednesday.
Notwithstanding, due to internal changes within ANESCO (National Association of Stevedore Companies and Ship Agencies) which have occurred during the negotiations, the stevedores have called off the strike for the days:

ACTUALIZACIONES EN LA HUELGA DE ESTIBADORES
Los estibadores presentaron un Preaviso de Huelga el pasado 15 de Junio, como continuación a su protesta contra la liberalización del sistema actual de contratación de los estibadores portuarios anunciada por el Ministerio de Fomento.
La convocatoria de huelga tendrá lugar en las horas impares de los dÃas:
Lunes 26 de Junio     Martes 27 de Junio    Jueves 29 de Junio    Viernes 30 de Junio
Lunes 03 de Julio     Martes 04 de Julio     Jueves 06 de Julio     Viernes 07 de Julio
La diferencia con las condiciones de la huelga anterior es que ocurrirá cuatro dÃas a la semana y el único dÃa de jornada de trabajo normal serÃa el miércoles.
No obstante, debido a los cambios ocurridos en dentro de ANESCO (Asociación Nacional de Empresa Estibadoras y Consignatarias de Buques) durante las negociaciones, los estibadores han desconvocado los siguientes dÃas de huelga:
